Catherine Mosier, MMFT, LPC
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Denton, Texas, with over 35 years of experience providing Christian counseling for individuals, couples, and families. I offer a safe, compassionate space for people seeking help with anxiety, trauma, ADHD, bipolar disorder, addiction, grief, and life transitions. In addition to individual counseling, I offer marriage counseling and relationship therapy using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach that helps couples rebuild trust and deepen connection.
My work is rooted in the belief that healing happens in relationship—with God, with ourselves, and with others. I especially enjoy helping clients who feel stuck in painful patterns move toward greater clarity, emotional connection, and lasting change.
I am the author of Becoming One: Rediscovering the Heart of Marriage, a Christian marriage study based on Genesis 2:24 and the story of connection woven throughout Scripture. My husband and I also lead a marriage ministry in Denton, Texas.
My clinical training includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed therapy, ADHD treatment, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I am a member of the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT) and the American Association of Christian Counselors.
Outside the office, I enjoy gardening, crocheting, and spending time with family and friends of all ages.
